The Games We Love

Hi everyone!

One of the biggest challenges when learning English is practicing regularly. That’s why we use games to help students build a natural, everyday connection with the language.

At the end of each class, students usually get to choose a game we can play together. It feels like a reward after their hard work—but it’s also a powerful learning tool!

Here are some of our students’ favorite games:

  • LingoClip
This is a favorite for students of all ages. Many of them enjoy it so much that they start playing it at home almost every day! It helps you improve your listening skills, and if you sing along, it can also boost your pronunciation and speaking confidence.

  • GeoGuessr
Perfect for conversation practice during class! It feels like going on a virtual trip around the world together. We describe places, share ideas, and practice speaking naturally. With different themes and modes, there’s always something exciting to explore.

  • New York Times Games (Wordle, Strands, Spelling Bee, Connections, and more)
These word games are a fun (and sometimes addictive!) way to build vocabulary. They challenge you to think in English and play with words you already know, helping you remember them more easily.

Why does this matter?

Because learning English shouldn’t feel boring or stressful. When you enjoy the process, you learn faster, remember more, and feel more confident using the language in real life.

If you want to improve your English while having fun and actually looking forward to your classes, you’re in the right place.
